Tim Carmody is a writer and editor from Detroit, now living in Philadelphia. He's Deputy Editor at DeepLearning.AI, and one of the producers of its weekly newsletter, The Batch, and its shorter, twice-weekly newsletter, Data Points.
He is also a redhead and a recovering academic.
He has bachelor's degrees in mathematics and philosophy from Michigan State University, and an MA and PhD in Comparative Literature and Literary Theory from the University of Pennsylvania.
